Family outing to the Texas Rangers Game so we used our spiffy picnic bento box with three layers that snap together. Love it!!!! Security got a kick out of seeing the bentos.

Eat at home bento so able to add more decorations and not have to worry about squishing them into the box. We are longing for summer so we made a beach theme bento using fried rice, octodog, carrots, strawberries and cheese.
Argh!!! Girlie has a special picnic lunch provided today so gave me a chance to make a really cool boy lunch. Homemade mini loaf of bread treasure chest. Octodog pirate, meatball with skull and crossbones. Strawberry, carrots, cucumber, Coconut jello and quail egg skull.

Reused a few easter eggs to pull this bento together. We have glamor girl easter egg with cabbage hair, broccoli with cheese high heels on top, salmon cream cheese filled onigiri. In the snack box we have clementine, grapes and strawberry.

In honor of my sons return to playing baseball, after activities were cancelled for swine flu, today we have a baseball theme lunch. They have a double meat ham sandwich on a hamburger bun with cheese baseball and meat and cheese baseball player, strawberries, grapes, and no game is complete without peanuts. I also used sugar snap peas for filler. And the boys will take the lettuce box liner and eat it in their sandwiches.

I've been playing more and more with my mini cutters and decided to use the nesting heart cutters today. Which as fate would have it the last preshaped boiled egg in the fridge was a heart so off I went. And of course I had preformed onigiri in the freezer! So this lunch was so fast to make. The celery kinpira and the cabbage were both cooked fresh on opposite ends of a large pan (less cleanup!) Added the fresh fruit and we are good to go!

Been a while so trying to get all the bentos posted. This set is one of my daughters favorites. Today she has a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with cheese and meat decorations, grapes, carrots, clemetine, strawberries, and sugar snap peas.
