Cowboy Chili

Cowboy Chili

2 lbs ground beef
1 lg onion diced
1 clove garlic minced
1 bell pepper diced
2 cans red kidney beans
1 (28oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (14.5oz) can stewed tomatoes
2 1/3 c water
2 tsp cumin
1/3 c chili powder
1/2 tsp pepper 
3 tsp salt
1/2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp olive oil

In a large pan heat olive oil and cook onions and peppers until tender set aside. Brown hamburger meat then add onion and pepper mixture into the pot. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for an hour. 

This chili can be served alone, over a baked potato, in frito pie etc.
