I am the queen of using items not intended for bento in my bento. Most of the picks I use are actually cupcake picks. There are many online stores like amazon that offer cupcake picks in sets of three instead of a dozen per set. I also use mini cookie cutters that can be found at most craft stores or even some grocery stores.
